21st December 2023, Serdang - Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) had organised  Academic Quality  Assurance  Briefing  Year 2023 for all Undergraduate and Postgraduate Deputy Academic Deans of Faculty/School on 21st December 2023 at Senate Hall, Putra Canselori Building, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The briefing which was held in a hybrid manner was attended by 26 staffs physically and 65 staffs online. The briefing, which was held for the first time, was delivered by Prof. Dr. Amin Ismail, Director of CQA and also attended by Prof. Madya Dr. Noor Syamilah Zakaria (Deputy Director of CQA), Puan Nurhanisah binti Sadun (Head of Academic Quality Management and Accreditation Division), Puan Haslida bint Hassan (Head of Quality Management Services Division) and Cik Aidawati binti Ramali (Head of Data and Programme Register Section). This briefing was intended to strengthen the understanding of the current needs for  academic quality assurance  , increasing responsibility for managing  academic quality  at the faculty/school level and as a platform of discussion with faculties/schools regarding issues/challenges of  academic quality assurance  at faculties/schools. This briefing session   is very significant to ensure continued compliance of  academic quality assurance management with the latest MQA standards. This briefing is also the best platform for the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Deputy Academic Deans  to ask questions related to academic matters because the briefing was also attended by representatives from the Academic Administration Management Division (BAKD) and the School of Postgraduate Studies (SPS).
