11 May 2023, Serdang - The Center for Quality Assurance (CQA) as the leader of UPM's quality environmental practices held a Briefing on Enhancing the Implementation of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) online to all newly appointed PTJ EKSA Coordinators. A total of 24 participants attended this briefing session which aims to provide exposure to the newly appointed PTJ EKSA Coordinator regarding the implementation of UPM's EKSA Practice based on the requirements stated in the latest EKSA Implementation Guide to help the smooth implementation of EKSA at PTJ and UPM as a whole. EKSA is an initiative implemented at UPM to create a conducive work environment, corporate image, creative and innovative with the application of green sustainability practices to support the implementation of ISO and the UI-Green Metric Rating. This briefing is one of the annual activities organized by CQA as stated in the EKSA UPM activity calendar. The briefing was delivered by Puan Shamriza Shari as the UPM EKSA Coordinator which focused on the following topics: 1) Background of EKSA implementation at UPM; 2) Introduction and Implementation of EKSA in general; 3) EKSA Evaluation Criteria used; 4) EKSA Best Practice Examples; 5) Impact Before and After Implementation of EKSA; and 6) The result of Creativity and Innovation. EKSA has been implemented at UPM since 2020 as one of the effort to rebrand the 5S Practice, as envisioned by the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU). |
