28th November 2023, Serdang – The University Islamic Centre (PIU) and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FPV) held a Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem Benchmark Visit (EKSA) to the Center for Quality Assurance  (CQA) on 28th November 2023 (Tuesday) from 9.30 am until 12:30 p.m. This visit aims to get a clearer picture of how CQA implements EKSA at UPM and share experiences regarding EKSA practices at CQA. The delegation from PIU was led by the Director of the University Islamic Centre, Ustaz Zuhaimi bin Abd Rahim and 10 staffs while FPV was led by Encik Iskandar bin Afifi who represented the FPV EKSA coordinator  and fifteen (15) members. The programme started with  welcoming speech by Mdm. Haslida Hassan as the Chairperson of EKSA CQA followed by  briefing and sharing of EKSA's experience at CQA by Mdm. Azarizam Ali, EKSA CQA Coordinator. After the briefing, the group was taken on a tour around the spaces and zones found at CQA and given exposure to EKSA practices that have been implemented over the years. After the visit, the delegation was asked to provide suggestions and feedback based on their observations to improve the implementation of EKSA at CQA. Hopefully with this visit, will give aspirations to PIU and FPV to continue to commit to the EKSA implementation for the year 2024.
