EKSA CQA Self-Assessment

14 February 2024, Serdang – Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) of Universiti Putra Malaysia has carried out a Self-Assessment of PTJ's Conducive Public Sector Ecosystem (EKSA) on 23rd January 2024. This assessment by an external assessor is required for the Workplace Environment Quality Award 2023/2024.

The evaluation was carried out by Mr. Mohd Hafiz Amrullah, Financial Officer from the Bursar's Office, and Mrs. Siti Salbiah Othman, Assistant Information Technology Officer from the Information and Communication Development Center (iDEC). The evaluation was started with a welcome note by Mrs. Haslida Hassan as the Chairperson of the EKSA CQA Implementation Committee and was followed by a brief briefing on the implementation of EKSA CQA by Mrs. Zenaida Md Zenon who is also the EKSA CQA Coordinator.

The evaluator was then taken to the entire CQA space within the scope of EKSA, namely the office space, meeting room, pantry, ISO room, prayer room, toilet, printing room and office equipment store to be evaluated and the Responsible Officer (PYB) to the relevant spaces briefed the assessors on the implementation and improvements that have been made in their respective spaces. The assessment presentation by both assessors was carried out at 3.00 pm attended by all CQA staff to get input on the results of the EKSA assessment carried out. The improvement suggestions submitted by the evaluators are accepted by CQA as an opportunity to improve the implementation of EKSA at CQA.
