23 November 2023, Serdang – Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has received a visit from Ms. Michie Fujimoto from International Affairs Division, Kyushu Institute of Technology (KYUTECH), Japan. She is undergoing a five (5) days staff attachment program at PUTRA International Center (iPUTRA), Universiti Putra Malaysia.   Ms. Fujimoto was present with the representatives of the PUTRA International Center, Mrs. Noraihan Nordin, Head of Administration of iPUTRA and Mrs. Ida Suhaila Md Tahir, Head of Global Engagement Section, iPUTRA who accompanied her for the session.   Ms. Fujimoto is interested to see and learn about the MS ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) certification management at UPM as well as the certification maintenance process. The briefing was conducted by Puan Haslida Hassan, Head of Quality Management Services Division, CQA and assisted by Puan Zenaida Md Zenon, Head of Quality Audit Section, CQA.   “I express my gratitude for the precious opportunity to visit CQA. I was impressed by how UPM effectively responded to customer needs and how their organizational management system ensures practical qualification. The internal auditor system is a good idea to engage UPM staff and encourage them to think about how they can enhance their responsibilities. I plan to bring my learnings from CQA to Kyutech and propose ideas for organizational improvements in our management and operations.” Ms. Michie Fujimoto.
