4th April 2023, Serdang – Center of Quality Assurance has organized the QMS MS ISO 9001:2015 Internal Audit Course for the year 2023 on 21st to 22nd March 2023 (Tuesday and Wednesday) at the Agriculture Hall, Faculty of Agriculture, UPM from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. This course aims to strengthen the understanding and skills of University Auditors in preparation for the UPM Internal Audit for the MS ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) which will be conducted from 3rd April 2023 until 30th June 2023. This course was conducted by Puan Noraihan Noordin from Putra International Center (i-Putra), UPM who is also a University Auditor and has extensive experience in MS ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) either inside or outside Universiti Putra Malaysia. This course was attended by 33 participants with the objective to understand the purpose, scope and content of MS ISO 9001:2015 and its uses; understand how to plan, implement, supervise reports and make follow-up actions; understand how to write non-conformity reports and how to take corrective and follow-up actions on non-conformities; and to strengthen the implementation of internal audits in improving the effectiveness of the UPM Quality Management System. This course successfully achieved the planned objectives with participants was very satisfied with the organization of the course.
