8th August 2022, Serdang - Center for Quality Assurance (CQA) has organized the Series 2: MS ISO/IEC 17025 2017 Internal Auditing course held at the Jemaah Room,

Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, UPM by inviting Pn. Anijah Pangat (Principal Trainer SIRIM STS Sdn. Bhd.) as the speaker. The course which has been conducted for two days

starts on 8th and 9th August 2022 were attended by 20 participants from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FPV), Faculty Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences (FBSB),

Halal Product Research Institute (IPPH), Institute of Bioscience (IBS), Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ION2) and Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest

Products (INTROP).

The objective of the course is to provide an understanding of the principles and concepts of internal audit and how to plan and implement an internal audit. In addition, 

course participants are also trained on the technique of writing audit reports and implementing corrective actions and follow-up actions. Through this course, it is hoped that

laboratory personnel will be better prepared to undergo internal audits as well as audits carried out by the Malaysian Standards Department (JSM). In addition, this course is

also expected to enhance the skills of existing UPM auditors as well as to provide training for the potential personnel to be appointed as an internal auditor later.
