26 Julai 2023, Serdang - Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA), UPM has conducted a virtual site audit for the Master's programme by Coursework and Doctor of Philosophy, Faculty of Educational Studies in coastal Albukhary International University (AIU), Kedah by appointing two assessment panels led by Associate Prof. Dr. Juwaidah Sharifuddin from Faculty of Agriculture and Dr. Farina Mustaffa Kamal from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The objective of the site audit is to ensure that the educational resources at the coastal location are sufficient and effectively support the PdP activities as well as to ensure that the quality of programme management is guaranteed just like the management of the programme conducted at UPM. The 'virtual audit' assessment was held on 26th July 2023 from 9.00 am until 12.00 noon. The assessment is based on Area 5 which is Educational Resources based on the Code of Practice for Program Accreditation (COPPA), 2017. During the audit, a representative from AIU delivered a brief briefing and the evaluation panel was taken to view the teaching facilities via live zoom. An interview session was also held with the Programme Coordinator and the administrative staff who manage the facilities at AIU. The audit session was also attended by Prof. Emeritus Dato' Dr. Abd Aziz Tajuddin who is the Vice Chancellor and President of AIU. The results of this audit will be brought to the Programme Self-Accreditation Committee Meeting for approval and will then be endorsed in the  Senate Meeting before the faculty submits  to the Higher Education Department (JPT) meeting for approval.
