APEL.C Book - Part 2-2.1 : APEL.C Definition & General Policy

2.1        Definition of APEL.C

APEL.C is a mechanism to recognize learning based on students' previous experiences that have been identified as relevant and have achieved learning outcomes for a course (Course Learning Outcome, CLO). In other words, APEL.C enables learning based on previous experience in the form of knowledge and skills acquired through formal learning; and/or non-formal learning; and/or non-formal learning that is given credit and transferred to replace equivalent courses. This type of learning will be scrutinized and evaluated to determine whether learning has taken place and is in line with the learning outcomes of a particular course.
